    my goodness..
I have totally neglected this for quite a while now. But it seems like the only important stuff I have to post about, is on the Sub-level 03 account..
I've been really up to just music and school. Job hunting, part time, but doing it... is a major pain in the ass. I had to drop out of my intermediate algebra, because darth vader said that if I didn't, he would melt my brain!

So now I'm down to one class, it's a cool class so I'm not fretting. Been really getting some ideas for music videos in my head, and I'm beginning to wonder if I could make them happen. I have the means, I just have to get it all lined up...

I'm a sucky artist (drawing wise) and I wonder how in the world I'm going to storyboard this. Well.. I'm sure I can find a way. Since I last posted Maya (my malamute/wolf bitch) had 10 puppies. They are totally beautiful, and adorable... if I had the means to post pics on here I would. Puppy sales are not happening, lots of people call me as if I were the David Attenborough of wolf hybrids... *rolls his eyes*
I feel like just flying off the handle and telling them, "That's why Al Gore invented the internet!" and hanging up on them. The other scenario is, they call, they tell me they will be right over, and never show...GRRRR!!!

But it's ok... the pups are happy... but would be much happier in a home where they can get individual attention.
Anywho.. not much more is happening, I'm jonesing to get the CD finished so we can start playing some shows. I'm sure we will be liked, we have a bunch of cool songs.

Well.. I'm off... just thought I would update this... if you all are interested in keeping up with the "important" stuff.. add 'Sub-level 03' to your friends list.

    Till next time...

    *hugs*

    wow.. what a week
Well.. things have been going both good and bad for me lately; or in one word "difficult". Band wise, we are making much progress on our new CD, this past weekend we got 3 songs throught the production bin, and now they are in sitting in the "post production" bin. Only 9 more to go!... sheesh.. but with a little luck the network will pick me up... oh wait a minute.. wrong line.. that's Ripley's line at the end of ALIEN. What I meant to say was that with a little luck, we can get things done soon, and get this CD out to be heard.. it's going to really be good...trust me!

In other aspects of my life, things are not so good at the moment, but I hope that whatever life brings...it will be something happy. Because I feel like I'm withering away with all types of worry, I guess that's why I'm slatedt to be a musician? so I can spew my feelings out on paper and music???? It helps...

    Who would have thought??
Well.. this weekend came and went, and my goodness did I not have to catch my breath.
Well the Con itself was a success... many people came from all over the country, and state. The park was just to die for, and the fun had was totally worth the trip.
The show itself went well.. considering some malfunctions that decided to manifest themselves a couple of hours before we were scheduled to play. All in all they got worked out, and we made due with some things not going as planned. We began the show, and John and I were really nervous to say the least, but as we played on the nerves seemed to soothe themselves. Only to have yet another malfunction manifest itself, and make a fine fiddle out of my nerves!!..

After that manifestation of satan had made its way into the neverworld, we continued on with our show. Now I must be honest here, we thought that we wouldn't hear anyone clap for us.. well.. at least one or two.. But to our surprise the room went into an uproar every time we were done playing each song. That boosted our confidence, and we both fed off of the energy coming from the audience. We had an appearance by "JJ" a totally cute furry malamute that was beckoned onto the stage, only to be serenaded by the words to "Music for dogs". JJ was totally willing, and enjoyed every pet, grope and whatever else I wanted to do to him. I gave him something to remember the occasion by.. I replace the collar that he was wearing (it read 'JJ') with one that was engraved on a gold bone that read "I was humped and leashed by Wolff at Festival of the feral Nov. 1, 2003". The audience really loved the show that JJ and I gave them, well.. at least while it lasted. Well.. to make a long story short, we got a standing ovation at the end of our set, and now John and I feel like bonefide "Rock Stars". We have many endeavours ahead of us, and we are as ready as can be for them. Our 2nd CD should be coming out sometime in December if everything goes well...

That's about all fur now, and I will keep y'all posted with anything interesting..
    Take care
    *hugs*

    The day is drawing near...
Well.. yesterday I went to Togo's place and got some practice in after watching Survivor.. one of his favorite TV shows. We are coming along fine... we discussed the level of our readiness for this show next week, and we are confident but not too overly confident. This will be our first show and we expect that some things will not go smoothly. Not that we suck or anything, just things never go smoothly for artists when they perform live. Needless to say we are VERY excited about this and I think if that energy transfers over to our performance... we will do just fine. It's been about 6 years since I've been on stage, but I have the blood of an entertainer running through my veins. Togo hasn't performed since his High School days in band, but I know he will do just fine... he's an awesome musician and for him to know that I'm behind him 200% will boost his confidence level.

In other news.... Things at home are not going all that well.. my stress level is going through the ceiling, and my mind is clouded with endless possibilities of how things will come out in the end. Let's just hope that I don't become roadkill when the whole thing is over. Money wise, my financial aid is finally coming through. They told me that it should be mailed to me today or perhaps as late as Monday of next week.

Tonite I am slated to go practice once again, and I like this because it's my escape from reality...Well.. in a way it's therapeutic, since I sing about things that are either feelings I have, or subjects that I can relate to. I try not too write too much about me, since that would make me an open book. But then again, what am I doing here? ehhehehe... is this a "paradox"? Possibly so... but I don't care.. I can complain and say whatever I want.. because it's my life darn it... and I can do it.. yes I can!! ;p

    ...as I was.
Well.. school has begun once again, and this semester is packed with exciting stuff. I have one Algebra class and 3 film courses. Mind you the people that teach these classes so far ARE current employees of THE hollywood... There is the producer of "The Godfather" and the director of "Children of the corn" that work at this school. I'm needless to say, excited about this.. to know that I'm being taught by people in the indrustry just makes me rest assured that I will come out of this a sure winner.
There will be many opportunities for advancement and experience as the semester goes on. There are 2 chances of having any short film/video that I've made shown in 2 of my classes.

On the music front, Ren and I will be visiting a possible drummer for our group on thursday of this week. I hope things work out, because we need a drummer and a bassist REALLY bad. I have been working on putting together some AV stuff for our show that is coming up for Halloween. It's for a convention being held in Oklahoma called "Festival of the feral".. information on this event can be found at www.oklacon.com.
Ren's work is winding down, FINALLY.. so we will be able to resume work on our music.. especially since we have a few new tunes that we want to try out for FOTF come October.

I have also acquired a new "axe" a 2000 Gibson Explorer Gothic.. it's really cool!!
It's in the shop right now getting "Wolffed" up and when it's done.. it will sound better than its ever.
It will be making it's debut in October as well.

Since my last post I attended MFM (Mephit Fur Meet) in Memphis Tennessee... It was my first Con ever and it was sure a lot of fun. There were furs there that I knew, and more that I didn't know.. but now have become my friends. There were 400+ in attendance so this made it a nice way to introduce myself to the con visits. I am planning on attending FC in January of next year, and AC as well...
Well.. it's time for me to get some lupine sleep.. so I will post when there's something worth posting. :)

    6 Flags
Wow.. just got in from our trip out to 6 Flags.. it was soooo much fun!!! I went with Akita,Akita's daughter, and Horses. It was a helluvagoodtime!! it was VERY HOT.. but it was fun none the less. We left here at about 6 AM on Saturday morning, and we arrived there a litte before 10. The hotel was rather low rate for being a La Quinta Inn.. I've stayed with them before, but this particular location was questionable. Needless to say, we went to 6 Flags, and walked till 7:30PM. Akita, his daughter and Horses were the ones brave enough to ride the coasters and stuff. So they rode all they could, I think they covered the bases.. because we scoured that park, many times. I rode one called "Runaway train" it was rated as "ok" by the Fab 3... but I rode it and I must say I got off of it with weak knees. So that was my rollercoaster story. I did get to hug Sylvester tho!!! :D
He's my favority Looney Tunes character and I had a couple of pictures taken with him, if I had a copy of them I would put them on here, but I don't think I have ways of doing that since I don't pay for this... :/
Anyhowl.. it was a great time... came home with a HUGE sylverter plushie, a Scooby Doo Plushie and a cute wolf plushie..

Well.. as you can imagine I'm exhausted like hell.. and I start school in the morning, so I just thought I would post this on here, before I got too busy during the week.

    yet again...
Another long day at work.. not much to say.

Been feeling a bit down lately, have some inner things that have to worked out.. nothing too serious, but serious enough to cause me grief. I know this is not something to be advertised, but I'm pretty much a walking billboard when it comes to showing emotions.

Things are a bit better now that I had time to chat about it, and I'm mauling the information over in my mind, and re-arranging my thoughts.

Now the weekend has even more appeal, since it's going to be a getaway from it all type of trip. I hope to have as much fun as I'm anticipating.

    So far this week..
Well.. it's been kinda slow, not much going on here. For the weekend the only thing I can remember is eating with friends..hehehehe..

Horseman and DePony came by, and Akita and I had lunch earlier that day, also needed to return some tools to him. Ren and I have worked really hard and haven't done much music still, but he told me today that one of our jobs is 80% done. So there is some hope that we will get some stuff done soon. I did purchase some more "goth gear" for myself this weekend.. my image is almost complete, went to pick up my boots today, only to find out that they had ordered women's size 13 (men's 11) so I will have to wait some more.

This weekend should be lots of fun, Ren, Akita (and his daughter), Horses, and myself will be headin' down to 6 Flags.. that is going to be a blast.. I can't wait... I will probably have some storied to tell when I get back.

I am still on the hunt for Goldenwolf's art.. but nothing has come up lately that grabs my attention.. Hang in there Wolfie.. I will find something! *smile*

    Well.. heck
Another weekend gone by and one week closer to starting school once again. I will be working most of the week, helping Ren nip some of this work in the bud. This coming weekend we will be going to six flags, unless we run into problems.. which I hope we don't.

This past weekend I took it easy, like I work so hard... ;P
Hung out with Ren on Saturday morning/afternoon.. doing some server stuff.. while I watched... :D
Then we went to my den and hung out with some furry friends, had a great time.. didn't get to bed til 3AM the following morning... :/

Sunday was pretty much a lazy day... met a friend for lunch, returned a wireless hub that was totally worthless... and got a new plant for the house.. Later in the day went out to dinner with a couple of friends, and came home and watched some more episodes of Babylon 5.

Now I'm sitting infront of the computer, updating my journal.. and then I'm hittin' the hay.

    It's about time!!
Well.. I thought the day would never come... here I am alive on the net once again!! Woo Hoo!!
Also I'm finally moved...(smirk) and boy what a lot of work that was...

    THE MOVE:
We came to the house before moving in to clean and all the other stuff you are supposed to do when you move to a new place. Oh-MY-GOD!!!.. let me tell you, this place was like a relic!!! nothing had been cleaned since 1942!.. or so it seemed.
The tub was *shiver* so nasty! The previous tenants decided to paint it white, instead of cleaning it. The tiles where outlined in black (due to the mildew) and the sliding glass doors didn't slide! :/
It took me 2 hours to get it to where I wouldn't be afraid of being consumed by the plant-like inhabitants, or perhaps contracting some kind of leprosy! hehehehe...
The rest of the house needed some TLC like you wouldn't believe. No curtains, not drapes, this place as F'd hard and put up wet!
EVERYTHING was painted over with white latex paint. Door knobs, trims, light switches, so on, and so on...
That was all just in that one day. We then got all moved in and the place started to take shape, and now I must say that it looks a bit descent.
We got a new dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, and a fridge that... DAMN!.. it needed to go.. this thing was about 20 years old, and it was chick-yellow.. with a nice coat of black latex paint ON IT!! *grin*
Martha Stewart, go home! *snap* *snap*
Got a new living room set to replace the old beat up couch we had. A new entertainment center to replace the tiny one that we had in the trailer. So needless to say, the place looks much nicer than it did ... well let me put it this way.. it looks much nicer than is has in a VERY long time!

    WORK:
I've been working with my good friend/band-mate Ren helping him get caught up and finished with the work overload he's had. The days seem to just blur together, and I can't say how many hours I have put in since I started helping him. Things are starting to take shape, and the end of it is a couple of weeks away!

    MUSIC:
So far everything has been put on hold while work is taking the lead spot. We are, however, slotted to play at the "Festival of the feral" at the OklaCon this coming October 31st. That should be really cool, since it will be the first show that Ren and I do live together. We have about a month and a half to put together a 45 minute show, or so...
The new album is coming along nicely, and things have been moved to "TOP SECRET" level.. to avoid the lack of emotion when it's finally done. We may have a CD release get together at Akita's place, and possibly play there as well.. we will see. I have passed this idea to both Ren and Akita and that's about as far as that idea has gone.
Also we are going to re-shoot a video for "Music for dogs" to enter into the FC contest next year. This time we are going to take more time to think of a cool theme and storyboard, instead of just ad-libbing it. :p
you can check out the old one by going to www.sublevel3.us to see what I mean. It's cool and all, but just needs more substance... and that way you can see the new one when it's done, and you can tell me what you think. :D

    SCHOOL:
That doesn't start till August 25th, and I have taken care of everything that there is to take care of, so I'm ready for that, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Well...that's about it in a nutshell... talk to you all later *hugs*

    The week so far....
This week so far has been kind of uneventful. Still waiting on word from our to be landladies about when we will be able to move. Been busy packing stuff, and getting services canceled etc, before the big move. I may be going into the city in order to take care of stuff that needs to be done, and also Ren may need some help with work.

On Monday I got together with some furs and had a discussion about a possible furry Halloween gathering. We are thinking of doing it outdoors, and planning on doing lots of fun things. It's still in the developing stages, but I'm sure something cool with come out of it. I was very pleased to meed the group of (10) that showed up and invaded the local IHOP. I look forward to meeting them again soon.

Today, I did nothing really, except for a few errands around town, and checked out "Seabiscuit" while I was there. It was pretty good, but nothing I would run out to buy on DVD when it comes out. It was entertaining, and the story was cool.

Anyhowl.. nothing much happenin' on this neck-o-da-woods.

    Update....
well.. I don't know how long it's been since I put something up here, but here's the skinny on what's been up with me lately. This past weekend I was to go to 6 Flags with Ren, Horses, and Horseman. We headed out to Ren's place on Wednesday night to make our trip out to Texas a bit shorter on Saturday. Thurday and Friday Horses and I spent time looking for a place to live in that area, since we're going to be moving there soon. Then we had to take care of some school business, and headed back to Ren's place. On Thursday night some unforseen event came up and the plans for Texas were postponed to a later date. This was a bummer in itself, but never-the-less we had fun that weekend.

Horses and I decided to take a trip to Arkansas to visit some furry friends we have out that way. We arrived at about 9pm on Friday night, and didn't last too long since we had just finished a long trip. Saturday was very much fun, we went out to eat, checked out Pirates of the Caribbean, and headed back to "the cube". That night lots of Alcohol found its way into my system and needless to say, I was feeling rather fluffy. :)

I met new folks, and folks that I've known for ages, but just dind't make the connection since we all use different nicks in the furry community (or atleast some of us do). Anyhowl to make a long story short, a good friend of mine named Bigpaws was the kulprit of the Brandy that found its way into my system. We remminessed about "old times" and possibilities of doing music related stuff together. That night I was hugged, pounced, scritched, huggled, nuzzled, and even had my butt smacked rather hard. That's what I get for showing off my Big Dog boxers that have a tail printed on the back-side of things. :p
4AM came about and my gas ran out, so I headed to bed to get some much needed rest. Sunday at about noon or so we went out to lunch, and a movie.. checked out Johnny English, which was yawn inspiring.
We went back to the cube, and packed our stuff to begin our journey home.
All-in-all I had a great time seeing my friends once again, and hanging out with old time pals. Also my fur suit is back into production after a long awaited hiatus. I should have it withing a month or so... I'm really excited about that.

On the "home hunt" we have finally settled on a little house not to far from the University, and we should be moving there by the 1st of August. There are a few things to take care of before we move in, but I don't suspect it will be hard work at all.
The one thing I look forward to is the high speed internet access that we are going to have now... woo hoo.. no more ancient modem technology!!!

This is the last week of school, actually it ends tomorrow.. and I have lots to do, thus explaining part of my net absence. After school I will be heading out to Ren's, I will be arriving there sometime during the early evening. For Thursday, Friday and possibly Saturday I will be assisting him with work, to make things easier for him.

Well.. that's it for me so far... I'm sure there are going to be many tales to tell as the weeks to our move approach.

Till then.... peace and humptiness forever! ;p

    This past weekend.
This past weekend was a total blast!! I haven't had a perfect weekend like this in such a long time. I mean everything was perfect... well except for a little tiny encounter with the local Highway Patrol.

Friday I headed out of town and met with Ren and Akita at Akita's ranch... had some absolutely killer burgers! "Rub-a-dub-dub make us some grub!". This was after taking a nice refreshing dip in the pool. On Saturday Ren and I got lots of work done, we went to a music store to post a flyer since we are seeking 2 musicians to join our "Sub-level 03" family. While at this store Ren and I became euphoric (as we usually do in music stores) and bought some equipment to add to our recording studio. I almost fell prey to a $500 guitar, but I resisted since it didn't come with a case (an extra $100). So needless to say, we walked out of there with much more than what we originally wanted... but it's all good.

We got to his place and began adding finishing touches to 2 songs, which now sound killer! That took most of our day. By 7pm I was over at Akita's and we did dinner at a new Italian restaurant near the ranch, MAN was it good!!!... let me tell you; the place lacks in cooling, but they make it up in their food. That was very nice, and then we headed back to the ranch and chilled.

Sunday, I took Ren out for breakfast in the neighboring town, and on the way back I got on the wrong side of the Pike, and to make matters worse there wasn't a place to make a U-turn. So I had to pay $1.50 to go through the toll gate and make a U-turn, and then pay yet another $1.50 to head back in the right direction. So I found out that U-turns cost $3.00 to make, hehehe. To make matters worse, on the way back to Ren's, we were so busy "yacketty-yacking" that I failed to notice a Highway Patrol heading our way. When I looked his way he was pointing at the side of the road and I read his lips saying "pull over". I did the right thing and stepped on it, and made him try to catch me.... HEH!.. No, not really. I pulled over, and he had me give him the usual documents, but this time he asked me to get out the car and get in his. Hmm... I thought to myself... does this guy want me to "work" my ticket off... after snapping back to reality, he asked me the usual pull-over questions and I was honest with him. He was nice enough to write me a warning, so I thanked him very much and we got on our merry way. We finally got to the studio and Ren and I got back to work on our album and got yet another tune done... and we then headed out to dinner with Akita. We ate at SouperSalad, and topped our bellies off with some Marble Slab ice cream. We then headed out to Akita's ranch for yet another dip in the pool... (it's too hot out here) and played around like little children. I got bit by a wasp, my first bite (bows) thank you... thank you. It hurt like hell... I got bit under my arm.... OUCH!

Monday Morning I was up at 4:45 AM, and headed out to my humble abode. I had a dentist appointment that morning and school later that evening. I got home at about 7 AM or so, did the breakfast thing and got my tooth fixed up. Came home, took a nap (because I was tired) then headed out to school... and on the way back I went to pick up a van that I had purchased last week. It's really cool!... I know... Vans are a true sign of old age... yeah... yeah... yeah... but it's cool never-the-less.

Today (Tuesday) I'm going to be out and about updating the tags, changing the oil, and all that extra stuff that you do when you purchase a used vehicle. This weekend I was supposed to attend Anthro Con in PA, but due to financial troubles I am sad to say that I won't be making it. But I am going to head down to 6 flags, with Ren, Horseman and Horses Ghost for the weekend. So that should keep my mind busy from thinking about missing out on AC.

Anyhowl... that's about all there is for me this time... 'til next time!

    This past weekend.
I spent all weekend at a friend's house for the 4th of July. He's been putting on a fireworks show for the last few years, and it's been quite enjoyable being privileged enough to be invited to partake in such event. Not only was there fireworks, but friends and family there as well... overall a really fun time. Did some house hunting and stuff, and turned up some possibilities but nothing solid as of yet. I'm beginning to get a bit anxious about this since Fall semester is not too far off in the distance.

I'm looking forward to this coming weekend, big recording time. Hoping to put the lid on 2 songs off of the CD, and begin the process for others.. so it's going to be quite busy with that.

Also, AnthroCon is starting to look like it may not happen for us this year, lots of obstacles have come our way preventing us from attending. There may be a hope, but not holding my breath. If I make it, it would be great.. but if I don't.. then I'm not going to be crushed. There's always next year, and this time I will be better prepared. Who knows, maybe I will be posting on here soon about what a great time I had... :)

    I hate when that happens..
ooopss.. pressed the wrong button. :p

as I was saying payed bills and stuff. I had slotted dinner to hang out with friends, since I knew I would be feeling a bit down on my B-day. I will spare you all the heart wrenching stuff that causes me to feel down on my Bday. Anyhowl.. since I live in the boonies, it's quite a trek from the city to the shoebox I reside in. So my mate had the great idea that we would not go home, but sit at the bar for 2 hours and get some drinks... I don't drink much myself, only on special ocasions. I thought that sounded fine, to make a long story short.. he brought along his Harry Potter: the order of the phoenix book (not that I'm braggin' for him, but just to let you know my mate's priorities) and sat there at the table, not the bar and read for 2 hours.. while I sat there in utter silence waiting for our friends to arrive. Needless to say, I was furious inside at the lack of compassion that my mate was oozing. So I ordered a Grasshopper, which tasted like Milanta... so I got a pina colada instead. Friends arrived, things livened up (fur me atleast) and Dinner went well. Caught a sneak preview of Terminator 3 (kicked ass!) and went home. Finally before going to bed I got a hug from my mate, and a happy birthday. It was as uneventful as most of the day, so it was just one of those things where you ask yourself.. "why did you even bother?".

Maybe I'm being bitter, but you think that it would be the first thing he would do as he saw me... oh well.. I'm used to it.. I don't even get a cake anymore... *sigh*
I don't want to sound like a baby, but I have been feeling pretty trapped and lonely lately, and I hoped that atleast for my birthday I could be treated somewhat special.. but it was just another ordinary day in the life of this solitary lupine.

But today I did really well in my Algebra class, and passed the test with a 100%.. so I feel like I accomplished a lot.

    Life as usual
Well.. here it is the day after my birthday. The blues of getting older have passed, and life has resumed it's course (not that it ever stops). Yesterday all I did was run eronds in the early part of the day, got my student loan checks so it was time to pay some bills.
